 As one of the original members of the True North team, Matt is a principal of the firm and a member of our Investment Policy Committee. Matt has a BBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University and has spent his entire career in investment and manager research and strategic portfolio analytics. At True North, Matt and his team are responsible for the ongoing due diligence of recommended and prospective investment strategies, options and managers. Matt leads True North’s efforts serving clients with diversified portfolio design tailored to their unique situations and in researching opportunities across the full range of investment asset classes.Away from the world of investments, Matt plays basketball and is a former member of the men’s basketball team at SMU. Matt is also a member of the Dallas Society of Financial Analysts.
