    Mike has over two decades of wealth management experience. He began his career at Evensky & Katz in Coral Gables, Florida, gaining unparalleled experience in the industry, while also establishing himself as a respected advisor, speaker, and mentor.

    Mike joined True North at the end of 2008. As a Partner and Senior Wealth Manager, Mike is widely known for his humor, empathy, practical advice, and advanced wealth management expertise. While he is a native of the Pacific Northwest, his life and career have taken him around the U.S. and overseas. Having lived in Texas (a few times!) for a total of over 20 years, Mike is proud to call Dallas/Fort Worth home.

    The firm’s mission is Fulfilling Lives™, and Mike supports this by working closely with clients in finding the right solution and strategy to meet their wealth management needs. Seeing a client’s reaction to knowing they are going to be okay, is the best part of Mike’s job.

    Mike received his bachelor’s degree from Seattle University. He also is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where he acquired his Law Degree and Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning. Mike is a Certified Financial Planner® and former U.S. Army Officer, having served in the 82d Airborne Division and the Texas Army National Guard.

    Mike currently lives in Murphy, Texas with his wife Elizabeth and their three children. Mike enjoys time with family, reading, supporting the evolution of the wealth management industry, and continually learning.

    As a Senior Wealth Manager at True North, Colin is responsible for providing financial planning and portfolio management for his clients. Previously the Guidance Manager at United Capital Financial Advisors, now part of Goldman Sachs, he brings a unique perspective to the work True North does by delivering quality and sound financial advice with a propensity for knowledge and curiosity. Having joined True North in 2019, Colin is passionate about finding and delivering innovative ways to enhance the client experience for the families he serves.

    The firm’s mission is Fulfilling Lives™, and Colin supports this by understanding what is truly most important to his clients, collaborating on a plan to achieve those goals, and working every day to make that plan a reality.

    Colin is a University of Texas at Dallas graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP). When he’s not keeping busy with work, you can find him spending time with friends and family, exercising outdoors or at the gym, and playing his guitar.

    As a Partner and Senior Wealth Manager at True North, Matt is responsible for building trusted relationships with clients and serving as the integrator of their life plan. He believes Private Wealth Management requires first a deep understanding of his clients’ as people; their values, goals, relationships, and interests in addition to their financial assets.  

    Prior to joining True North in 2013, Matt developed a deep understanding of investments at JP Morgan, gaining a seasoned perspective on both public and private markets.  

    The firm’s mission is Fulfilling Lives™, and Matt supports this by working collaboratively with his clients to achieve their stated objectives and to steer clear of pitfalls along the way. Outside the office, he supports organizations focused on hunger and treatable diseases. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Healthy Minds Initiative – a non-profit leading positive brain health transformation. 

    Matt earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, with a major in Marketing, at The University of Texas at Austin. He holds the designations of Certified Exit Planning Advisor through the Exit Planning Institute, as well as, a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA), Certified Investment Management Analyst ® (CIMA) through the Investments & Wealth Institute, Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), and continues to pursue additional learnings and educational opportunities in a variety of wealth management subjects to better serve his clients. Matt’s hobbies include cycling, snow skiing, hiking, traveling, reading, and most anything on or near a mountain.  He and his family reside in Flower Mound, TX.

    Caleb has worked in the wealth management industry for over a decade, gaining experience in holistic wealth planning, strategic investment solutions, dynamic family governance, and family office management. 

    Caleb joined True North in 2019 and serves as the Senior Director of Wealth Planning. In this role, he brings significant technical planning experience and a pragmatic, advisor-rooted perspective along with highly sharpened problem-solving skills. Prior to assuming this position, Caleb was a Senior Wealth Manager, serving some of the firm’s most complex clients. He previously served on the board of the DFW Financial Planning Association as Director of Education. 

    Prior to joining True North, he served high and ultra-high-net-worth clients at Tolleson Wealth Management and RGT Wealth Advisors. Caleb is passionate about providing meaningful outcomes for client families through complex planning and generational wealth solutions. He also has a keen interest in business strategy and the mentorship and development of other advisors. 

    The firm’s mission is Fulfilling Lives™, and Caleb supports this with intentional focus on enhancing the planning and advisory capabilities of the firm. A more robust understanding of nuanced planning allows our advisors to help clients achieve their family’s unique life goals. 

    Caleb earned a Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude in Personal Financial Planning at Texas Tech University. His hobbies include fitness, travel, snow skiing, and technology. Outside of the office, Caleb enjoys time with family, volunteering for Carry the Load, and pursuing new learning opportunities.

    Caleb joined True North in 2022 as a Client Operations Analyst. In 2024, he transitioned into the role of Associate Wealth Manager. He seeks to maintain the highest level of service to build a trusted foundation for the clients he supports.

    Prior to joining True North, Caleb was with Fisher Investments and as key support member on their Client Services team. There, he was able to build foundational skills in client services and operations while better understanding the financial services industry. He expanded his skills after taking on a new team structure to directly support the Investment Counseling team. From this experience, he brings not only an understanding of the operational skills needed to successfully complete his responsibilities at True North, but also the pursuit of bringing new ideas and processes into the role to further expand the success of his team.

    Caleb graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He then continued his education, earning his MBA from his alma mater UTD, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®.

    His hobbies include hiking, rock climbing, snowboarding, and travelling to new countries.

    As the Senior Director of Wealth Management and Partner, Braden oversees and manages the Wealth Management team in the Dallas office. He has worked in the industry for over 15 years across a variety of different roles spanning financial planning, investments, and client advisory. His broad experience ranges from economic research, private investments, hedge funds, tailored portfolio solutions, cash flow management and family governance.

    Prior to True North, Braden was an advisor with CH Investment Partners, a multi-family investment office founded by the Trammell Crow Family.

    The firm’s mission is Fulfilling Lives™, and Braden supports this via his passion for serving individuals by building trust among his team and the firm’s clients. He believes that trust is the foundation of all effective and deep relationships.

    Braden is a 2008 graduate of the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University where he earned a B.B.A in Finance. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth.

    Braden is native to the area and currently resides in Dallas with his wife and their three boys. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fly fishing, doing anything outdoors, and serving his church.

    Kellie joined True North Advisors in 2019 as a Senior Wealth Manager and became Partner at the firm in 2025. Kellie has over 14 years of banking and wealth management experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families. She brings a passion and expertise in guiding corporate executives and closely held business owners through financial situations that are often complex.

    Prior to joining True North, Kellie was an Executive Director with the Private Bank at J.P. Morgan where her responsibilities included developing and implementing goals-based investment strategies, lending advice, and banking services for high-net-worth individuals and families. Earlier in her career, Kellie held positions in Treasury Management with J.P. Morgan Investment Banking and with Amegy Bank.

    The firm’s mission is Fulfilling Lives™, and Kellie supports this by creating connections and advocating and finding solutions for her clients and their families.

    Kellie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma, was a performing member of dance and musical theater productions through the college of Fine Arts, and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She is a graduate of the Business Council for the Arts’ Leadership Arts Program and currently serves on the board of Dallas Black Dance Theater. Kellie enjoys contemporary and classical dance, yoga, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

    Ian joined the True North team as an Associate Wealth Manager in May of 2024 and was promoted to Senior Associate Wealth Manager in January 2026. In his role, he supports clients with detailed attention to their full financial picture.  

    Prior to joining True North, Ian was a member of the financial planning and strategy team at Texas Capital. There he coordinated with clients and their advisors to develop the right financial and estate planning strategies for their unique goals.  

    The firm's mission is Fulfilling Lives™, and Ian exemplifies this by seeking the good of others first and striving to lead a well-balanced life.  

    Ian was born and raised in Dallas before graduating from the University of Colorado with a bachelor's degree in finance and emphasis in personal financial planning. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Ian is held to a fiduciary standard and brings a comprehensive lens to retirement, tax, estate, investment, and insurance planning — helping clients see how each piece of their financial life fits together. He stays connected to the broader planning community by regularly attending Financial Planning Association events.  

    Outside of work, Ian plays in the worship band at his church and enjoys running at White Rock Lake with his wife, Hannah, and daughter, Lila, and listening to great jazz music around Dallas.

    Angelo joined True North Advisors in 2026 as a Wealth Analyst, where he supports the firm's wealth management team through portfolio management, trading, reporting, rebalancing, liquidity management, and investment research. He enjoys helping advisors build customized investment portfolios and delivering exceptional service to clients.

    Before attending Baylor University, Angelo began building his career in financial services through internships and hands-on industry experience. His passion for investing started at a young age, leading him to pass the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam at 18 and the Series 7 and Series 63 exams at 19. Today, he brings nearly four years of experience in the financial services industry to his role at True North.

    Originally from Wilbraham, Massachusetts, Angelo began working at his family's pizza shop at 13 years old, where he developed a strong work ethic and appreciation for serving others. He graduated from Baylor University with degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Outside the office, he enjoys studying investments and economics, following the financial markets, and spending time with family and friends.

    Matt joined True North Advisors through an acquisition in July 2025 and is a Senior Wealth Manager and Partner of the firm. Before the acquisition, Matt was a Founder and Managing Partner of Blue Investment Partners.  He has over 30 years of institutional money management experience. 

    Matt has spent almost his entire professional career investing the assets of institutions and high net worth individuals.  He worked for several investment management firms with strategies that varied from traditional long-only investing to highly-sophisticated, beta-neutral hedged strategies.  His diverse professional experience includes security analysis, portfolio construction, risk management, and marketing.   

    Prior to founding Blue Investment Partners, Matt was a Portfolio Manager at Citadel, one of the world's leading hedge funds, where he managed a team of six analysts and invested close to $1 billion.  Before Citadel, Matt worked for several buy-side firms, including Montgomery Asset Management, Andor Capital Management, and Apex Capital.  He spent 11 years at Apex, joining as an analyst and leaving as a Portfolio Manager.  Matt worked closely with some incredibly intelligent and talented investors and works hard to apply those learning experiences to the work he now does at True North.   

    Matt graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in Economics and a Minor in Classical Civilizations.  He also studied at Oxford University in the U.K. while an undergrad.   

    Matt received his MBA in Finance from Georgetown University and has been a CFA Charterholder since 1999.

Prior to joining True North in 2019, Adam previously worked at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor. In his role there, he was responsible for working directly with clients to develop and implement their financial plans. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Adam worked as an auditor at the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers focusing on mutual fund and alternative asset managers.

    Mark Gehlbach is President and Co-founder of True North Advisors. Responsible for the leadership of True North’s Managing Directors, Mark also provides strategic and cultural direction for the firm’s future and advises many of the firm’s largest families and institutions. Mark oversees the Investment and Wealth Planning divisions and is a voting member of True North’s Investment Committee. Mark’s 25+ years of experience guiding high net worth families in the stewardship of their resources serves as the foundation of the True North client experience.

    Mark began his career at the Salomon Smith Barney Consulting Group. There, he was responsible for providing both investment and wealth management services to private investors, and consulting and trading services to institutional investors. Well-regarded in the investment industry, Mark was one of the first thirteen wealth advisors in the nation to hold the designation of Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA), awarded at University of Chicago Booth School of Business. An active member in the local and national wealth management industry, Mark is often quoted and sought after as a source by professional publications such as Private Asset Management and Bloomberg Wealth Manager.

    Integral in crafting the firm’s core purpose: Fulfilling Lives™, Mark purposefully encourages all colleagues to think about their daily efforts with client relationships, vendors relationships and their co-workers to ensure that every interaction is intentionally working towards this goal.

    Before founding Clear Rock, Chuck served as Director of Private Client Services for Matterhorn Capital. Prior, he served as Director of Fixed Income at South Texas Money Management, and as Vice Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer of Maxim Bank prior to the bank’s acquisition by Amegy Bank.

    Chuck earned an MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a BBA in finance from Texas State University. He is a 2013 recipient of the University of Houston – Clear Lake Distinguished Alumni Award.

    Brett joined True North Advisors through an acquisition in July 2025 and is a Senior Wealth Manager and Partner at the firm. Before the acquisition, Brett was the Founder and Managing Partner of Blue Investment Partners. He has over 30 years of markets, financing, and operating experience at leading financial institutions, both on the buy and sell side.

    Prior to founding Blue Investment Partners, Brett was a Managing Director in the J.P. Morgan Private Bank, serving as Banker/Advisor to wealthy families principally from the financial services industry. His partnership with this preeminent client base focused on strategies and solutions to manage and optimize their balance sheet across investments, banking, and credit.

    Prior to joining the Private Bank, Brett was responsible for J.P. Morgan's Prime Brokerage business in the Western States. That business, in the Corporate and Investment Bank, provides custody and financing for Hedge Funds, traditional Asset Managers, and Family Offices. Throughout his 20 year career at J.P. Morgan, Brett directly led coverage of several of their largest, most sophisticated, and highest profile institutional and individual family clients. He was a nine year member of the J.P. Morgan Chase California Operating Committee.

    Brett was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns prior to the J.P. Morgan merger and held roles in the Global Equity Division including Senior Relationship Manager, Equity Research Sales, and Equity Capital Markets.

    Brett’s ten years of buy side experience includes roles as Securities Analyst, Director of Research, and Portfolio Manager at each of a leading hedge fund, a $2B+ family office, and a Fortune 100 corporate pension plan. Brett has managed investments along the entire spectrum of Traditional and Alternatives, across the full capital structure, and over the course of multiple cycles.

    Brett graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in Economics.

Prior to joining True North, Royce served as Managing Director and Senior Wealth Strategist at Clear Rock Advisors.

    Prior to joining Clear Rock Advisors, he served as Secretary, Treasurer and Director for Massey, Itschner & Company, P.C. Prior to that, he served at Arthur Andersen, followed by employment in an affluent family business.

    Royce holds the designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.

    Royce received his MBA from Texas A&I University and a BBA in Finance and Accounting.

    Zachary has spent over fifteen years working in multi-family investment offices in North Texas. His work has focused on advising families in areas of balance sheet risk management, portfolio asset allocation, and multi-generational wealth planning strategies. 

    Zachary joined True North Advisors in 2022 and is a Senior Director of Wealth Management and Partner of the firm based in the Fort Worth office. He supports high-net-worth families, business owners, and entrepreneurs by providing disciplined advice and highly tailored solutions for investment management and wealth planning. 

    Before joining True North, Zachary served for six years as an Advisor for CH Investment Partners, a multi-family investment office founded by the Trammell Crow Family. Prior to that, he spent five years serving in various roles at Brownlie & Braden, LLC, a North Texas based investment advisory firm. Throughout his career he has been devoted to serving families and helping them steward their wealth. 

    The firm's mission is Fulfilling Lives™, and Zachary supports this by thoroughly understanding a family's goals and objectives, implementing planning to accomplish them, and solving any problems that arise along the journey. He has a servant's heart by nature and gains personal fulfillment and happiness by helping others achieve theirs. 

    Zachary is a 2010 graduate of the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University where he earned a B.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate. In 2015, he earned an M.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University with concentrations in both Finance and Real Estate. 

    A true Texan, Zachary has never lived outside the state. He currently lives in Aledo, Texas with his wife Sarah and their three children, Charlotte, George, and Mary Claire. He enjoys spending time with family, supporting his wife and children in their endeavors, and serves on the Board of Directors of Aledo Athletics, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth baseball league in Aledo, Texas.

Anna works closely with the Portfolio Analysts and Client Operations teams to carry out client requests in an efficient and timely manner, while keeping the overall financial goals & objectives of the client at the center of every request.  

    Anna joined True North Advisors in 2021, working as Portfolio Analyst. During her time in that role, she was responsible for trading client portfolios, strategic rebalancing, and managing portfolio cash needs. In this role, Anna gained practical insight into True North’s investment philosophy and portfolio approach. 

    Prior to to True North, Anna worked for UMB Bank as a portfolio manager on the Commercial Banking team, where she helped underwrite and review middle market commercial loans. From her time spent in this role, she brings with her an aptitude for evaluating attractive investments and a deep familiarity with varying capital structures. 

    In 2018, Anna earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance at the University of Kansas. She later attended Southern Methodist University in 2022, earning her Certified Financial Planner Certificate and her CFP® designation thereafter. 

    Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading, trying new restaurants, and traveling.

    As a Senior Wealth Manager and Partner at True North, Corey meticulously designs and implements customized wealth planning and investment management strategies to guide his clients in establishing and achieving their financial goals. Prior to joining True North, Corey served as Managing Director of Clear Rock Advisors.

    Prior to joining Clear Rock Advisors, he served as Director of Wealth Management at Polaris Wealth Advisory Group. Prior to that, he served as Lead Advisor at Raub Brock Capital Management. He also served previously as an Account Executive at Fidelity Investments and as a Senior Associate at Bernstein Private Wealth Management.

    Corey is passionate about both the investment management and financial planning disciplines of his work and has devoted his career to serving families through applying his expertise in these areas with an emphasis on client education and communication. He derives great satisfaction from having the opportunity to develop long-lasting relationships built on value and trust.

    Corey is a Certified Financial Planner™. He received his BBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

    Corey lives in Austin with his wife Andrea, and three young children. His hobbies include being a full-time husband and dad, jiu-jitsu, music, and anything outdoors.

    Melissa “Missy” Friedman Lucas brought her multi-decade outsourced family CIO practice to True North Advisors in April 2024, joining the firm as Managing Director, Family Wealth. In addition to her ongoing client responsibilities, Missy is a member of the Investment Team and serves as a voting member of the Investment Committee.

    Missy’s work advising families includes portfolio construction, manager selection, and supporting trustees in meeting their fiduciary responsibilities. In close collaboration with her clients’ other professional advisors, Missy provides guidance on financial objectives, investment structures and policies, and reporting processes. Missy’s experience and expertise allow her to oversee the sophisticated investment mandates and complex structures necessary to optimize generational wealth.

    Before founding her outsourced CIO practice, Missy held positions of increasing responsibility within Capital Group Companies, ultimately serving as Vice President of Capital Research Company, where she researched the chemical and healthcare industries and directly managed ~$500 million of investments. Prior to Capital Group, Missy was a biochemist at Merck & Co.

    Missy graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biochemistry from Princeton University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. When she’s not working or mentoring entrepreneurs from untraditional backgrounds, you’ll most likely find Missy dancing.

    Prior to founding Clear Rock Advisors, Royce served as Director of Capital Advisory Group at Lazard Asset Management, Partner and Director of Portfolio Management of Smith Group Asset Management, President of Belmont Wealth Management, and Senior Portfolio Manager of US Trust. He brings 30+ years of experience managing client portfolios through multiple economic and market cycles.

He is a veteran investor in alternatives and private investments, maintains key client relationships, and is skilled at simplifying complex market and investment concepts.     Royce received an MBA from Texas Christian University with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting and a BS in International Trade from Texas Tech University.     Royce lives in Dallas with his wife Nancy and has two adult daughters, Emma and Caroline. All four are graduates of Texas Christian University. He is an active member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church. Royce grew up on a cattle ranch in Southeastern New Mexico and visits his family there often. In addition to helping out on the family ranch when he can, he enjoys fitness, travel, reading, snow-skiing and mountain biking.

    As a Wealth Manager in True North's Fort Worth office, Preston oversees portfolio management and the day-to-day stewardship of his client relationships. True North's mission is Fulfilling Lives™, and Preston brings that mission to life through the high-touch attention he offers the families, business owners, and entrepreneurs he serves. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, he takes a holistic approach to wealth planning—aligning each strategy with the goals and priorities that matter most to his clients. 

    He joined the firm in 2021 as a Portfolio Analyst, where he managed trading and helped construct thoughtful, customized client portfolios. He was later promoted to Associate Wealth Manager, partnering with the Directors and Senior Wealth Manager in Fort Worth to deepen client service. 

    Before launching his career in wealth management, Preston pitched in the Chicago Cubs minor league organization—the culmination of a college pitching career that later earned him induction into the TCU Athletics Hall of Fame. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a minor in History from the university.

    Outside the office, he and his wife, Kristen, are raising their two children, Miles and Jane, in Fort Worth, along with their rescue pets. Both former student-athletes, Preston and Kristen love cheering on their alma mater on game days.

    Chris Pate is Chief Operating Officer of True North Advisors. In addition to his role on the Investment Team, his duties include oversight of True North’s Wealth Management and Wealth Planning Teams. He is intimately involved with sourcing and evaluating private investment opportunities for the firm, adding a unique perspective to building bespoke private investment portfolios designed specifically for advisory clients. Chris also serves on True North’s Management Committee and Leadership Team and is a voting member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee. Chris initially joined True North in 2019 as Managing Director in our Fort Worth office.

    Prior to True North, he spent eight years managing the investment activities for Western Commerce Group in Fort Worth. His responsibilities included oversight of both public markets and private investments within Western’s investment advisory operations, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and hard assets. Before joining Western, Chris spent 11 years at Q Investments, a $2.5 billion (as of 2011) Fort Worth multi-strategy hedge fund founded in 1994.

    The firm’s mission is Fulfilling Lives™, and Chris supports this by his leadership activities in the firm, his work on the alternative investment platform, and his supervision of key client relationships.

    Chris graduated Cum Laude from Texas Wesleyan University in May 2000 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics.     Susan Rowinski joined True North Advisors as a Senior Wealth Manager in June of 2024 and brings over two decades of financial advisory services experience to the firm. Susan began her career at Oppenheimer Capital where she had a variety of positions, but her last role was overseeing the Institutional Consulting Department where she worked closely with professionals on new business opportunities.

    Susan joined Rockefeller & Co. in 2000 (now Rockefeller Capital Management) where she worked with multi-generational families and their affiliated foundations, endowments, and other non-profits organizations. Susan has worked closely with individuals and families on comprehensive understanding of family governance, strategic oversight, and the varied, highly detailed day-to-day bespoke work that is essential to serving clients.

    Susan graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Villanova University.

    Susan currently lives in Chatham, New Jersey with her three boys and sheepadoodle. In her free time, Susan enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending sporting events with her boys, exercising, and doing anything by the lake and beach.

    Prior to joining True North, Scott served as a Wealth Planning Analyst at Cadence Bank. In this role, he gained hands-on experience across paraplanning, portfolio management, and direct client service, developing a deep appreciation for the trust and care that meaningful client relationships require.

Her gift is making the complexity not feel overwhelming or cumbersome and creating peace for her clients.

    Prior to joining True North in 2014, Tara was Senior Vice President for Carter Financial Management where she was responsible for financial planning services as well as oversight of the firm’s daily office operations. Earlier in her career, she held senior level financial and wealth planning roles at The Capital Chart Room, LTD, Wells Fargo Private Client Group and Merrill Lynch.

    Tara has been listed in D Magazine: Best Financial Planners (2015-2025). She was also one of Money.com’s Top Women Planniers in 2025. She is past president of the DFW Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and FPA NexGen, and has served on the National FPA Chapter Leadership Advisory Council and National FPA Experience Task Force. She also served on the board of trustees for the Foundation for Financial Planning for seven years. Tara received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Financial Planning Association a few years ago.

    Prior to joining True North, AC served as a Financial Planning Specialist at AspenRidge Wealth Advisors. During her time there, she developed a strong foundation in working through complex financial situations and discovered a passion for designing specialized strategies, particularly in the areas of tax and retirement planning. Along the way, she earned her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, as well as the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®) and Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor℠ (APMA®) designations.

    Sofia began her career at Vanguard as a Financial Planning Associate. During that time, she partnered with tenured advisors to implement and execute planning deliverables, portfolio implementation, and trading functions. Sofia acted in a client facing capacity and developed a strong desire to serve families and their various financial complexities.
