Sophia Aleman first joined True North Advisors as an HR Consultant in 2025. Since officially joining the team in 2026, Sophia has partnered with HR leadership to simplify workflows and strengthen processes to support the firm’s continued growth. As an HR Advisor, Sophia’s work includes delivering comprehensive HR support by balancing people‑first decision making with data‑informed governance – elevating the employee experience, driving performance, and ensuring HR strategies align with the firm’s objectives and mission of Fulfilling Lives™.

Before True North, Sophia was the HR Manager at CarOffer, leading initiatives across recruiting, development, and employee relations, and guiding HR workstreams through change and integration. She also served as the HR Specialist at IKS Health, supporting fast‑growing operations through work in HR analytics and talent management. Her experience includes managing people processes during high-growth periods and leading successful HR integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions. She is a well‑rounded HR practitioner with end‑to‑end experience across employee relations, compliance, payroll and taxation, immigration, leave‑of‑absence administration, benefits, recruiting, talent development, performance management, and post‑merger integrations.

Sophia holds an MBA from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial–Organizational Psychology from Texas A&M. She lives in Dallas with her husband and their two dogs, Grey and Lychee. Outside of the office, she enjoys making ceramics, cooking and exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with friends.
