As Director of Investor Relations at True North, Danielle partners with the investment team to create investment presentations, commentaries, and fact sheets. She assists with investment communications and financial reporting. Danielle is tasked with cultivating and maintaining relationships with investors with the goal of expanding the reach of the firm’s alternative investment platform.
Danielle has a background in private equity, fundraising, and commercial real estate. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Investor Relations at Rex Tech Ventures. As VP, she advised the Founder & CEO on overall strategy and positioning and identified, cultivated, and solicited high-net-worth individuals and family offices to invest in the venture studio. Before Rex Tech Ventures, she worked in investor relations for Kairos Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund. While there, she managed relationships of 150 limited partners across four funds and assisted in fundraising efforts to grow Kairos’s AUM from $45M to $250M+ in three years.
Before Kairos, Danielle worked in the Development Office at the California Institute of Technology (“Caltech”), managing fundraising efforts from major donors in Caltech’s $2B Breakthrough fundraising campaign. Previously, Danielle served as a Corporate Services Manager at Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, where she managed Health Net, Inc.’s national real estate portfolio to help it contain costs and standardize its deal term sheets, lease agreements, subleases, and purchase and sale agreements.
The firm’s mission is Fulfilling Lives™, and Danielle supports this by seeking innovative ways to expand the reach of the firm’s alternative investment platform.
Danielle received a BA in English from Princeton University and was a member of the Cap & Gown Club and the Social Chairperson for the University. She also received a JD from the University of Michigan Law School and was Vice Chancellor of the Barristers.
Danielle currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas. She enjoys attending TCU sporting events, hiking, paddle boarding, camping, doing yoga, and playing tennis and soccer. She is a member of the DFW/North Texas Chapter of the Hikerbabes Community, a diverse group of women who share a passion for the outdoors.
